August 11, 2005 - A month after its third anniversary Russian Library and Information Center announced deployment of a new WiFi access point to supplement the range of services for their bilingual readers. The library’s mission is to give access to a universal collection of Russian books, magazines and records for the Russian-speaking community of Toronto (est. at 150,000, expected to increase by 100,000 in 2006 in Ontario alone). The library works to promote cooperation and facilitate Russia-related research activities, providing its subscribers with free Internet access and assisting them in their search for off-line and web-based information. The recently deployed ezWiFi™ hotspot will extend the range of available services to a broadband Internet access for mobile users with WiFi-enabled laptops and PDAs who can enjoy fast Internet connection in the quiet ambience of a traditional library.

Sip a cup of coffee with ezWiFi™ wireless internet access at Super Fabric

July 4, 2005 - Super Fabric today announced launch of a new WiFi HotSpot on the premises of their unit within a Shopping Mall located at the corner of 2580 Shirpard Ave. – Dundas St. and HWY10 Mississauga. The company is determined to provide extensive broadband WiFi coverage throughout the territory of the mall, mostly counting on frequenters of the Mall’s food court as their principal subscribers. Customers will get access to the WiFi network by means of Internet cards of different denominations available for sale at the Super Fabric location, and diverse counters around the food court. This arrangement is of mutual benefit: Super Fabric gets access to a constant flow of shoppers calling at the food court outlets which in turn become impromptu Internet cafes at no cost to their owners.
